Overdose Awareness & Naloxone training - Online session

This session is aimed at Lincolnshire professionals who support people at risk of overdose. If you want to understand more about opioid overdose and how to use Naloxone to save someone's life, then this session is for you!

Goals for the session:

• To become familiar with naloxone (injectable and nasal), how it works and how it is used​
• To understand risk factors for overdose​
• To be able to recognise and respond to an opiate overdose​
• Be confident in discussing Naloxone with people you support​
• To be able to give Harm Reduction advice to reduce risk of overdose

This session will take place online via Teams. After the training, you will be given the opportunity to attend an LRP hub in person to collect a Naloxone kit or you can order one online through our Click & Deliver service.
