Overview
Learn how to save a life with Naloxone. A training session for Lincolnshire professionals hosted by Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership.
This session is aimed at Lincolnshire professionals who support people at risk of overdose. If you want to understand more about opioid overdose and how to use Naloxone to save someone's life, then this session is for you!
Goals for the session:
- To become familiar with naloxone (injectable and nasal), how it works and how it is used
- To understand risk factors for overdose
- To be able to recognise and respond to an opiate overdose
- Be confident in discussing Naloxone with people you support
- To be able to give Harm Reduction advice to reduce risk of overdose
At the end of the session, you will be provided with a Prenoxad kit if you wish to take one.
This session will take place in person unless stated otherwise.
