Tutor: Caron Penney
Course Description. In this exciting one day tapestry weaving workshop students will develop their knowledge of colour theory through the overlay technique. You will be encouraged to use blending to achieve subtle transparant effects, seeing one colour appear through another. The group will work with an abstract design made by the tutor which best represents overlaying, the group will be encouraged to make their own interpretation of this with help from the tutor. Students will complete one small tapestry sample by the end of the day.
Please Note: Students should have completed stage 1 colour workshop or have a clear understanding of colour theory and blending before starting this workshop.
