Overnight Gong Puja - with CoSH Gong Tutors Annette, Aleka and Danielle
Overview
Overnight Gong Puja
Immerse yourself in the sound of the gongs in an overnight Gong Puja with College of Sound Healing Gong Tutors Annette Shaw, Danielle North and Aleka Powell.
WHAT IS A GONG PUJA?
A Puja is a sacred ceremony held to establish a deeper spiritual connection. In this context it is a dedicated overnight sound journey where the gongs are played without interruption for 8 hours - an entire sleep cycle.
Instead of a performance, think of it as a sound container, a continuous field of vibration designed to support rest, renewal and inner realignment. Your role is simply to lie down, let go and allow the sound to unfold around you in this profound experience.
As this is a sacred ceremony, you are invited to wear white, however this is optional.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
On arrival you will create your own cosy nest of bedding in the Gong Puja space. We begin with an opening ceremony and then surrender to the night as experienced gong practitioners Danielle, Aleka, and Annette play in rotation, keeping the vibration flowing until sunrise.
Many describe the experience as dreaming inside sound, profoundly peaceful, unexpectedly emotional and gently transformative.
As dawn arrives, we enter Shunyata, 30 minutes of profound meditative stillness that allows the frequencies of the gongs to settle and integrate. This shared silence is held without interruption.
We end the experience together with a light breakfast before stepping back into the day.
