Overspray's first (mini) paint jam will be at Kingston House in Stockport thanks to GRIT Studios - (That's the NEW GRIT Studios near the viaduct, not the one on Canal St!) This paint jam is IDEAL and INTENDED for artists who have never used spray paint before or only a little and fancy a go. Come down and have a go at painting your first piece of art with spray paint on a board and get some inspiration as you check out the work of and network with the other artists. The paint jam will take place in the car park from 12-5pm and spray paint is provided, thanks to a generous donation from Oskarwithak. Please turn up at 12pm. It's a relaxed jam with some refreshements provided - no alcohol is allowed. Organiser Becky will be on hand throughout for tips, tricks and assitance using spray paint. It'll be good vibes, good fun and hopefully nice and dry.
PLEASE bring your own respirator mask. If you don't have one, disposable masks will be provided. Spray paint is a hazardous subastance. If you have athsma, heart or lung conditions, this event isn't advised.
There is a toilet on sight in GRIT. As this is a working studio, you'll be escorted to the bathroom. This paint jam is ticket holders only - members of the public cannot come and view.
