About this event

Arts • Craft

We're staying late at the Mills this Autumn to bring you the Overtime Art Club sessions! Come along for relaxed evenings of zine making, photography and more - all facilitated by local artists and inspired by our current exhibition Many Hands.

You're welcome to bring your own drinks to the session, we'll provide all the materials you'll need.

This session with Lizzie Coombes is inspired by factory wall newspapers and storytelling through photography!

Lizzie will start the workshop by discussing factory wall newspapers and the importance of community photography and the counterculture it can help to create.

Lizzie will also talk through her 'photo a day' project and introduce the idea of creating narratives and meaning with captions, before setting up a portrait or still life photoshoot involving a significant object, outfit, photographs or mementos of your choice.

Please bring along something to photograph or to be photographed with for this session.

Suitable for ages 15+. No experience needed.
