Description

Course tutor: Keith Bowey
Course length: 2 days
Course structure: indoor session and field trip for each day

This two-day course (Saturday 23 February, and the following Sunday 03 March) will include: an overview of owls (their biology and taxonomy); information on British owls, with an emphasis on those that may be seen/heard in the northeast; and how to find owls, especially by ear. Each day will finish with a field trip to locations in the Derwent Valley where owls may be seen and heard.
