Description

Dr Sara Gordon, who interviewed History candidates at three different Oxford colleges, will give you her advice on how to choose a course and college at Oxbridge. With twelve years’ experience behind her, Dr Gordon will share her fascinating insider understanding of the system.

Students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Questions to be covered include:

- the relationship between colleges and courses

- using A level / IB options to inform course choice

- the differences between colleges

- Oxford or Cambridge? How to decide between the two

About Dr Gordon:

Dr Sara Gordon holds a B.A., M.A., M.St., and D.Phil. from Corpus Christi College in the University of Oxford, where she spent nearly twelve years as a student, tutor, and mentor. She has substantial experience of the Oxford undergraduate admissions system, having interviewed candidates at three different colleges, Corpus Christi, Regent's Park and St Peter's, and examined the history aptitude test during this time. Alongside that experience Dr Gordon has also taught and mentored undergraduates in history and has a successful track record of tutoring a variety of students in how best to approach the admissions process.
