Event description

Description

Oxfam runs one of the UKs biggest online charity shops, raising over £300,000 per year to help fight poverty. You will spend the day behind the scenes to sort, steam, photograph, list and despatch some fabulous items to a worldwide audience, whilst meeting new people and having fun!

We will meet as a group at 9.15 in the main entrance of Leeds Train Station (opposite Nero Express) and travel together to Oxfam in Batley (travel expenses will be covered). Light refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. We will travel back together, arriving by 15.30 at Leeds Train Station.

This is a creative and unique opportunity, where all skills and abilities are welcome. There will be fun challenges throughout the day such as who can wrap the most beautiful parcel or find the most items in the least amount of time.

There are 10 spaces available. If the event is full, please join the waiting list. Please only book a space if you are sure you can attend. If your availability changes after you have booked, let us know as soon as possible by emailing globalcommunity@leeds.ac.uk

If you have any questions or access needs, please contact globalcommunity@leeds.ac.uk
