About this event
Oxford City Council launched a new Community Impact Fund at the end of last year. On the 9 May Round 2 of the Small and Medium Grants Programme launches. At this session you can learn about the two grants :
- Medium Grants up to £5,000 (eligible organisations only)
- Small Grants up to £1,000 (eligible individuals can also apply to this fund for community oriented projects)
There are two funds available to bid for and we will give you all the key information that you need to decide if the grants might be suitable for you or your organisation. You will learn:
- What the aims of the programme are
- Who the fund is for and who is eligible to apply
- What sort of activities the fund will support
- More about the two new grant funding levels on offer
- A review of the online application form
- How grant decisions will be made
- Tips on how to strengthen your bid from assessors on Round 1 of the programme
- The timetable for further rounds of this grant funding programme for the rest of the year
There will be the opportunity to ask questions.
If you aren't able to attend this session, perhaps one of the other briefing sessions might be more convenient? All three sessions will follow the same format.
If you can't make any of these sessions you can still find all the key information about the Oxford Community Impact Fund programme and the Small and Medium Grants as well as access to all the key programme documents online. The Frequently Asked Questions page will also be updated.
If the Community Impact Fund isn't the right fit for your project then why not come along to one of our new Funding Surgeries. The surgeries will be held every other month and will:
- Share up to date information about other funding opportunities offered by local, regional and national funding bodies, Trusts, Foundations and Charities
- Share tips and advice on how you can strengthen your funding application - to the Oxford Community Impact Fund and others
- Give attendees the opportunity to ask questions about grants and funding to the Grants Team
You can book your place at the first session by clicking on the following link:
The Grants webpages also include a range of helpful information and links that can help you when considering how and where to apply for funding.
