The CIPD Oxford Committee and Oxford Brookes University are delighted to be hosting the fourth annual HRM Research Conference. This conference brings together HR professionals with current and former Oxford Brookes CIPD students, PhD and and Academic Researchers.
Conference Theme: Reporting from the HR frontline: The contribution of HR student research.
Contemporary organisations in all sectors face multiple demands arising from fluid and dynamic environments. They provide fertile ground for exploring how HR departments seek to understand, respond to and shape the environments they encounter. Postgraduate HR students at Brookes – many embedded in local organisations – are well-placed to investigate, analyse and report on these challenges through the research they undertake. In their reports from and about the frontline of HR today, they offer practitioners and other researchers deep insights into the changing and critical role of HR professionals in our time.
Brookes students particularly value opportunities to engage with HR practitioners in discussing the implications of their research and would welcome a big turnout from CIPD members and other local HR professionals!
