David Beeney – ‘Breaking the Silence’ will look at how we can create a culture of trust where managers feel confident to ask employees about their wellbeing knowing how this dramatically improves employee engagement, productivity, efficiency and results.

Bryan McCrae - 'Mental Health by Stealth - Thinking Well in the Workplace'
'Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is well known as the gold standard treatment for many common mental health conditions. However, performance development training programs that include the core cognitive behavioural thinking and managing skills also can help to equip participants to deal more effectively with both workplace and personal challenges, boosting performance, mental resilience and confidence whilst reducing harmful stress at the same time.'

Abingdon & Witney College are looking forward to welcoming CIPD branch members to our brand new Advanced Skills Centre on the Abingdon Campus, just off the A34 in Abingdon. The College is accessible by public transport but also has ample parking spaces if you prefer to drive.
