Description

The Oxford Half Marathon is back on the 8th October as the Virgin Sport Oxford Half Marathon and tickets are now on sale for one of the most picturesque runs in the country. The route takes you through some of the most beautiful places in the city of dreaming spires; including the iconic Clarendon Building, the charming village of Old Marston and past the stunning Radcliffe Camera in the city centre.

In true Virgin Sport style, the run will also feature a plethora of entertainment along the route, with local bands and DJs placed every mile to make sure you’re running to a beat. The Race Village in Oxford’s renowned University Parks will feature local food, more entertainment and is a great location to explore the city from.

There are a limited number of early bird tickets at £40 and include free photos, an asics technical finisher’s t-shirt, a medal, tote bag and spectator app. Tickets are available to purchase from https://uk.virginsport.com/event/oxford-2017/tickets

Virgin Sport Oxford Half Marathon is the third Virgin Sport event of 2017, following Hackney (30th April) and Westminster (9th July) and ahead of San Francisco (13-15 October). Virgin Sport is co-located in New York City and London, and led by CEO Mary Wittenberg, former President/CEO of New York Road Runners and Race Director for the New York City Marathon. In the coming months, Virgin Sport will expand to new festivals of sport and active lifestyle products in cities and communities around the world.
