About this event
The Oxford International Short Film Festival (OXISFF) celebrates the diversity and creativity of short films. From hard hitting dramas to fun animations, documentaries to science fiction, and including talks from film experts, OXISFF 2020 has something for everyone.
Beginning on Friday 8th May, the festival will showcase a new block of material each week. The blocks are:
- 8-14 May: Local Docs and 'Romance?'
- 15-21 May: Other Worlds (Science Fiction and Fantasy)
- 22-28 May: Documentaries
- 29 May-4 June: Nightmares (Horror/Supernatural/Gothic)
- 5-11 June: UK Drama
- 12-18 June: Micro-shorts (films under 5 minutes)
- 19-25 June: Children’s Films (family films)
- 26 June-2 July: International Drama
- 3-9 July: Loss (Drama and animation)
- 10-16 July: Thrillers/Crimes Doesn’t Pay
- 17-23 July: Comedy/Kooky
The festival will also host a series of online workshops and live Q&A sessions with some of the filmmakers.
You can watch as much or as little as you would like! Tickets are available at any time during the festival period and we will allow audience members the opportunity to catch up on earlier films which have already played.
Profits raised will be donated to NHS Charities Together.
