Oxford says Keep Palantir out of the NHS: Town Hall Meeting
Date: 1 November 2025
Time: 6-8:30pm
Location: Oxford Friends Meeting House, 43 St Giles', Oxford OX1 3LW
We are a group of local medics and non-medics who are concerned about the contract that the NHS has signed with the AI surveillance company Palantir, to handle all NHS data. Over the course of this event, we will provide short informative talks about who Palantir are, what their contract with the NHS means, as well as discussing the main concerns with this contract, including Palantir's lack of security around data privacy, their involvement in the Palestinian genocide, their involvement in human rights abuses in the US. This will then be followed by an "ask the audience" section, where we open the floor to attendeees to express their opinion about the contract, and what their primary concerns are. Finally, we will close the meeting with an interactive panel segment, where we discuss what our options are for opposing the contract.
Food and refreshments will be provided. The venue is fully accessible.
