Oxford Tuneless Choir Launch
Wed 2 November 2016, 19:45 – 21:30 GMT
Some people call themselves tone deaf, and a lack of confidence and practice can lead to many not singing in tune, which we call 'tuneless'. Oxford has so many brilliant choirs, but they are denied to most people because they are made up of 'tuneful' singers of long experience. But everyone should have the chance of singing!
This launch event is for those who believe they are tone deaf or tuneless, but would love the benefits that singing in a choir can bring. The idea is that you 'sing as if no-one is listening', without pressure or judgement, and have a great deal of fun stomping through our booklet of popular songs!
There'll be a glass of wine (or soft drink) waiting for you on arrival, and we'll sing for about an hour and a half, with a break in the middle for complimentary tea and cake.
Future meetings: every Wednesday. There'll be a £7 charge if you pay as you go (£10 for anyone's first time), or you can pay upfront for the six sessions from 9th November to 14th December for only £30.
Details of how to book will be available on the launch night, or we'll email them to you if you send us your email address firstname.lastname@example.org
