I am under 18, can I attend ?

Yes, under-18s can volunteer! Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who also registers. Aged 16–17? You can volunteer alone, but must register in advance, provide a signed parental consent form, and get approval from the volunteer manager. Contact us at: wilder.humber@ywt.org.uk

What should I bring ?

Bring your own lunch and plenty of water to stay energized and hydrated throughout the day and ensure to bring any personal items needed (ie medication).

What should I wear ?

Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Wear layers for changing conditions, and bring wellies, waterproofs, sun protection (sunscreen & hat), and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy. Spare wellies/waterproofs available—please contact us to book ahead of time.

What happens if I can no longer attend ?

If you’re no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket so we can update our volunteer list and make the spot available for someone else.

Is there toilet on site ?

Yes, there is toilet available and we will arrange often toilet breaks.
