Description

Open to all members on the PACR Pathway, the 5th Annual Pathway event will hear from speakers addressing a range of topics from complexities within conservation projects through to managing your career development and drawing out skills for leadership in conservation.

The event will include plenty of time for networking and the opportunity to ask questions which will support you on your path to accreditation. Speakers will include:

  • Lorraine Cornish, Head of Conservation, Natural History Museum discussing the instillation of the Blue Whale, 'Hope' in the Hintze Hall at the Natural History Museum
  • Ian Watson ACR, Co-Founder, Sussex Conservation Consortium will outline his approach to complexity and practical conservation problems thorough his private practice.
  • Leanne Tonkin, will talk about her career development and her decision after three years working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to return to the UK to undertake a PhD in electronic textiles and fashion.
  • Katy Lithgow ACR, Head Conservator, National Trust and Chair of the PACR Accreditation Committee discussing leadership skills for conservators.

The event is free to attend. It is only open to those registered on the PACR Pathway.
