Description

What goes on at PACT meetings?

PACT (Partnerships and Communities Together) meetings are an opportunity for the Community to speak to the Police & partners face to face, to have their say on what matters the most to them in their area. You can help paint an accurate picture of what is really happening locally. The problems encountered are discussed and solutions explored. From the issues raised at the meeting we decide on our PACT priorities.

What are PACT priorities?

PACT priorities are problems that the Police & partners will try to solve in a set time. They work with different agencies and come back at the next meeting with a report on the work that they did to try and solve them. Very often it is a mixture of Police, Local Authority, private sector, volunteer sectors and the community that solve these problems. They can only be finalised by you.

The next PACT meetings for Maerdy are:

  • Thursday 5th September, 2019 The Hub, North Terrace, Maerdy @ 19:30

If you have any issues you wish to raise, then come along to one of the PACT meetings above or contact
