The Ofsted & Early Years syllabus Paediatric First Aid course is HSE-approved. Whilst enrolled upon this course you will study first aid and work towards the qualification which is in line with the latest European and UK Resuscitation Council’s guidelines. Upon the successful completion of the course you will achieve an Ofsted & Early Years Syllabus Paediatric First Aid certificate which is valid for three years and you will be a first aider who is able to take charge of an emergency situation should the need arise.
On your course we will also cover Adult Resuscitation. You may be with friends, family or at a Nursery/ School where an adult may need caring for.
The sessions are limited to a maximum of 16 participants, allowing supervised practice with each person working on their own mannequin.
This course covers all subjects listed in Ofsted’s Annex A and is in line with Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage DFE-00337-2014.

Although not compulsory,the latest UK Resuscitation Guidelines encourage First Aiders to be trained in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) since AEDs will be the most successful method of re-starting an adult or child's heart. Therefore, we also include training in the use of AEDs using 4 x Training AEDs allowing plenty of practice using them on both adult & child Annie CPR mannequins.
