It is now a legal requirement for all newly qualified nursery staff to hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (PFA) course is regulated by Ofqual and meets all of Ofsted’s requirements. It is aimed at those who care for children from birth to 8 years old.

Please note that candidates must be able to perform exercises at floor level where required. It is a requirement of all regulated courses that the candidate should be able to communicate effectively with Emergency Services and, although this is not assessed formally, your instructor must be satisfied that this is the case. As such, all the question papers are in English and a reader will be provided if candidates have literacy concerns or learning difficulties.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You have to be at least 14 years old to attend this event. Photo ID is required on the day and we accept photocard driving licences, passports, National ID cards, staff passes, CIS cards etc. If you are unsure then please call or email us

What's the refund policy?

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes. If you’re just changing the name, then there is no charge. If you want to change the date of your course, then there is no penalty up to 4 weeks before the course but after this charges will apply and the full range can be found on our website www.thefirstaidteam.co.uk
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
