Aimed towards Guy's and St Thomas' staff, and south thames network paediatric trainees and consultants , nurses and AHPs this immersive face to face day will include a mixture of presentations and workshops to further your understanding of palliative care in infants, children and young people.
We will be covering:
- How to introduce Paediatric Palliative Care
- How to talk about advanced care planning and resuscitation with children and families?
- Managing symptoms in children
- Recognising the dying child
- What to do when a child dies
- Professional wellbeing
