Event description

Description

A conference for all professionals involved in the care of children due to undergo anaesthesia.

Our ambition is to continue the momentum created from the successful first APA sponsored meeting in Birmingham, where more than 90 delegates (Paediatric anaesthetists, pre-op nurse and managers) came together to discuss how to bring paediatric pre-operative care in line with adult standards.

We aim to:

- Share ideas and best practice from teams across the country who have had success in developing their services.

- Develop paediatric pre-operative guidelines similar to those available for adult practice.

- Improve our members ability to practice paediatric preoperative care with confidence, as preoperative medicine is relatively new disciple in paediatric practice.
