PRACP - Paediatric Return to Acute Clinical Practice course

This is the London School of Paediatric's successful return to training one day couse. The day is aimed at all health professionals working in paediatrics who are returning to clinical work after a period time away from training or acute paediatric practice.

The day is facilitated by an experienced faculty and entails 4 high fidelity simulation scenarios of common paediatric and neonatal emergencies, the opportunity to practice practical skills with support including endotracheal tube intubation and lectures on 'hot topics in paediatrics' and 'working less than full time'. There is a bespoke session facilitated by an experienced psychologist on compassion based CBT and mentoring offered through the day.

The day is free for paediatric trainees in London and as part of the programme you are offered a limited subscription to the mindfullness app - Headspace and lots of other resources useful to clinicans working in paediatrics.
