Description

The Brain and Development research group at the University of Surrey are looking for female participants aged 18-25 years to participate in a behavioural and brain imaging study. If you take part in this research project you will receive £30 and 3 free MRI scans, reasonable travel expenses will also be reimbursed.

To take part in this study you will need to participate in three sessions at the CUBIC imaging centre, located at:

CUBIC MRI Unit

Royal Holloway University

Egham Hill

TW20 0EQ

taking place over a period of two months. This will involve undertaking a series of behavioural tasks, providing a stool sample and a sequence of brain imaging in an MRI scanner. Participants will also be expected to consume a daily food supplement for 28 consecutive days.

In order to take part in this study you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a female aged between 18-25

  • Have no tattoos above the neck

  • Have no history of physical or mental illness

  • Cannot be following a vegan diet

  • Cannot have any piercings that are not able to be removed

  • Cannot have any metallic objects within your body
