About this event

  • 6 hours

Phil Speight is one of the UK's best respected canal painters - see the Guardian feature on his work here. This day course sees him return to Bollington Wharf with a new subject, concentrating closely on the history and painting of castle landscapes which characterise English canal art.

Phil's courses give an entertaining, in-depth study of a uniquely English craft, under the twinkling eye of a great practitioner. Feedback for his courses is brilliant. One student says: "Phil was patient, funny and such an expert. It was such a pleasure to learn with him."

Lunch, and all the materials you need, are included (please let us know any dietary needs at the time of booking). Places are limited, so book soon - for yourself or as a gift for the canal person in your life.
