Celebrating Nature’s Seasons with Watercolour

A creative way to honour nature & the change in seasons & cycle of life is to capture each quarter in watercolour. Painting Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter requires very different approaches & in these workshops throughout 2022 we take a close look at each season with its characteristics.

Come and join International Artist Linda Hollingshead. A popular tutor with over 25 years experience, who is well known for her enthusiasm & passion for Art along with her encouraging manner. She hosts warm, friendly and highly enjoyable inspirational courses, painting holidays and workshops. On this day workshop Linda guides you through a variety of processes and considerations to help understand the season & its characteristics. With painting demonstrations and easy to follow practical painting sessions to help you gain confidence & master painting this quarter.

Summer

In this workshop we celebrate the abundance & fullness of nature we find in the season of summer. With nature rich & in full bloom we look at nature scenes to explore the characteristics of this season and what it means to us.

You will learn how to mix and use a rich Summer colour palette, with tips on how to bring harmony & unity to your paintings to create landscapes & scenes.
