Event Information
About this event
Led by artist Andy Evans...
Be an inventor - constructing your paint brushes and drawing implements out of foraged materials.
Be a chemist - concocting your paints from local clay, chalk, charcoal, and plant materials.
Be an artist - creating paintings of the Spring landscape using all of the materials you've gathered together.
And be prepared to get dirty hands while working!
Come along in old clothes and good footwear, to suit both the day and the weather!
Please meet Andy by the picnic table and bench between the car park and the start of the track into the Gunpowder Works (near the disabled toilet), in good time for the workshop starting at 10.30am.
This is a family workshop recommended for children aged six and above. Parents or carers are required to remain present and will be responsible for their children's wellbeing and behaviour throughout the event. Tickets: £3 per child, accompanying parents and carers go free (don't forget to book your free ticket/s so we can keep track of numbers). 20 participants max.
