Paisley Pearl art commission community workshop
This is an exciting opportunity for older people (over 50s) to get involved in a Paisley art project which will be displayed in Paisley Museum. A one-day workshop will be run as part of a commissioned piece of art that uses computer code to generate Paisley patterns. Two artists, Vicky Isley and Paul Smith, will be working with volunteers, looking at memory and how memories are developed and preserved in patterns in nature. There will be no computer coding or any art or craft experience required: this is very much a 'hands on', practical workshop. The artwork produced will be going on display in the Museum beside the commission artwork.
