Pakistan @ 70, presented by Aman Foundation and curated by the LSE South Asia Centre, will create a global platform to debate topics of contemporary relevance to Pakistan's regional power on the international stage.

The inaugural lecture 'The World in Tumult' will be given by HE Dr Maleeha Lodhi (Pakistan's Permanent Representative at the UN, former Ambassador to the US). This will be followed by 4 panels across the two days.

Panel 1 (April 10, 11am): Philanthropy and Institution Building

Moderated by Mr Malik Ahmed Jalal. Speakers: Mr Syed Babar Ali, Mr Hussain Dawood, Ms Tahera Hasan, Mr Zaffar Ahmad Khan, Ms Fayeeza Naqvi

Panel 2 (April 10, 2pm): Art and Modernity

Moderated by Dr Iftikhar Dadi. Speakers: Dr Ali Nobil Ahmad, Dr Farida Batool, Mr Ali Rez, Mr Fasi Zaka

Panel 3 (11 April, 11am): The Constitution of Pakistan

Moderated by Dr Mukulika Banerjee. Speakers: Ms Hina Jilani, Dr Matthew Nelson

Panel 4 (11 April, 2pm): Development and its Dividends.

Moderated by Dr Adnan Khan. Speakers: Dr Faisal Bari, Dr Ishrat Husain, Dr Farrukh Iqbal, Professor S. Akbar Zaidi
