Description

An introduction to identifying different disesases and trauma seen on archaeological human bone. With tuition from Dr Carla Burrell, osteoarchaeologist, using both replica and real skeletons from the Norton Priory archaeological collection.

Participants will:

Learn how to identify different diseases affecting archaeological bones and teeth.

Learn how to identify different types of trauma.

Suitable for those with no experience and those with some background in the subject.
Maximum of 10 places. Booking essential. 16 years and over.
Cost £125 per person. Lunch/refreshments are not provided.
