PALLIATIVE AND END OF LIFE CARE SIMULATION TRAINING DAY AT KGH FOR IMTs

Programme to include:

 Identification and management of patients with limited reversibility of their medical condition

 Identification of a dying patient, developing an individualised care plan and appropriate prescribing

 Improving knowledge of prescribing syringe drivers

 Improving knowledge on managing common symptoms

 Improving confidence and skill with consultation skills in challenging circumstances

 Knowing where to ask for help

PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO IMTs but all other grades please express an interest and if there are places you can come too!
