Through video and audio examples, composer/performer and media artist Pamela Z will share her work and her process, focussing on the increasingly blurred lines between disciplines in her practice. Highlighting her use of voice, processing, gesture-based MIDI controllers, video, and found text, she will illustrate the various directions her work has taken over the years and address the effects that rapid changes in technology have had on it. This interdisciplinary approach has led to countless international awards and prizes, positioning Pamela Z as a field-leading artist and researcher.
