Pan-Afrikan Reparations Rebellion Action Reasoning (PARRAR)
Event Information
About this Event
The Pan-Afrikan Reparations Rebellion Action Reasonings (PARRAR) are regular events that support the engagement of Afrikan Heritage Communities (AHC) and our allies in the building of the International Social Movement for Afrikan Reparations (ISMAR); and more specifically, how they relate to the aims of both the Afrikan Emancipation Day Reparations March Committee and the Stop The Maangamizi!: We Charge Genocide/Ecocide Campaign.
Each PARRAR has a different theme and this PARRAR examines: 'The Role of Pan-Afrikan Autonomous Educational Repairs in Defeating Neocolonialism.'
We will be discussing, with our guest contributors Dr Stephen Phiri and Sis Cheryl Phoenix, three key questions:
1. How can we establish Pan-Afrikan autonomy in education to defeat neo-colonialism?
2. How can Afrikan autonomous education prepare us for reparations?
3. How do we ensure that our educational efforts do not represent 'a slaves idea of freedom'?
THE ZOOM LINK WILL BE SENT OUT 48 HOURS BEFORE THE PARRAR
