Description

Event Details:

As HR professionals you will no doubt have your own views on the challenges for organizations in the Brexit Era. Recent research, reported in the CIPD’s Autumn 2017 edition of Work, suggests that although the UK will continue to be an attractive proposition for International workers the implications for the talent pipeline in MNCs are not to be under-estimated. The research indicates that new talent –sourcing strategies will be required. In addition the uncertainty caused by Brexit may have implications for employee engagement. This research also suggest that many MNCs are not yet fully prepared for the challenges that Brexit poses.

The CIPD’s own research1 on the challenges for organisations post-Brexit indicates that some employers are using this as opportunity to focus on alternative recruitment strategies, such as attracting and developing young talent and/or other under-utilised categories of workers.

Come and engage with our panel of speakers who will each bring a different perspective on what they see as the challenges for HR in the Brexit Era. In times of uncertainty opportunities to discuss and share potential solutions can help minimise a sense of isolation (or frustration).

Our panellists include:

Wilson Wong, Head of Insights and Futures, CIPD. You can view Wilson’s LinkedIn profile here: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/wilson-wong-07b71a1
