About this event

From the home front to the frontlines and even behind enemy bars - Ukrainian women are central to Ukraine’s fight for survival, yet their stories remain underrepresented in global narratives of the war.

Join us for an evening with leading voices in Ukrainian feminist scholarship and activism as we explore the multifaceted experiences of Ukrainian women in the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war. Together with Dr. Oksana Kis (President of the Ukrainian Association for Research in Women’s History), Dasha Nepochatova (DPhil, University of Oxford, co-founder of Creative Women Publishing), and Anna Zatsepina (Trustee of the Women Fight for Ukraine Foundation), we will reflect on women’s resilience beyond the battlefield.

The event will be held in St John's College, Cambridge. Castlereagh Room.
