About the panellists

Tommy Oliver- Writer, director, producer, entrepreneur, and founder/chief executive officer

of Confluential Content. Confluential Content is a production company that houses Confluential Films, and Black Love Productions, with projects set up at HBO, Netflix, Sony, Lionsgate, and OWN among others. He is also the founder & chairman of Black Love, Inc., the company behind the Black Love docuseries, Blacklove.com & The Black Love Summit.

Christine Kuan is President and Executive Director of Creative Capital, a leading nonprofit organization that supports artists through grants and services. Kuan has previously served as CEO of Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Chief Curator and Director of Strategic Partnerships at Artsy, and has held roles at Artstor Digital Library, Oxford University Press, The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She holds an MFA from Iowa Writers’ Workshop and BA from Rutgers University.

Aisha Goss joined The Center for Cultural Power as Chief Development Officer in January of 2022. For more than 20 years, Aisha has served as a fundraising and operations professional to a variety of non-profit organizations. Her expertise has aided multiple organizations in building sustainable development processes and has reached more than $50 million in annual funding goals. Aisha began her development career at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association. Additionally, she was formerly the Deputy Director of the Secular Coalition for America. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Aisha is a Howard University alum, an avid reader, and bourbon whiskey collector and enthusiast.

Megan Wells is an award winning filmmaker, development executive, and brand entertainment leader. She has worked with major international brands + clients, some of which include: Red Bull, Sony Entertainment, Marvel Studios, Google, Under Armour, Gillette, the NBA, J&J and the Home Depot. She has EP’d, directed and produced over a dozen multi-episodic, branded and factual series, as well as several feature-length documentaries. Currently, Meg is focusing her efforts on working fractionally at the intersection of brands and major entertainment properties, specializing in building content studios and creating original IP in the evolving branded entertainment space. In addition to this, Meg directs a select number of commercials and short films for agencies and production companies across the globe, and is a sought-after keynote speaker, author, and industry futurist.
