WHAT IS PAPA JOHNS TARTAN TOUCH

Papa Johns Tartan Touch is Scottish Rugby’s fun, simple and social version of non-contact rugby. With only eight easy rules, it’s a great game for all abilities and all ages. Men, women and children can play in mixed teams together. You can enjoy the thrill of rugby without tackling, scrums and kicking. Whether you’re a practiced player or beginner, Papa Johns Tartan Touch is the game for you. No experience necessary - it’s a fantastic way to keep fit while learning a new sport, work on your skills and get social.

HOW TO PLAY

The aim of the game is to touch the ball down over the opposition goal line, while keeping possession and avoid being touched. Each team consists of six players and there are no referees, the game is run by the teams. When touched six times, the ball must be given to the other team. Ambassadors at the hubs will walk you through the game before you start, so don’t worry – you’ll be scoring tries in no time!
