PAPER CLOTHING WITH JENNIFER COLLIER
Sat 4 March 2017, 11:00 – 17:00 GMT
A leader in the upcycling revolution in art and craft, Jennifer has been investigating the re-used and recycled since 1999. “Giving new life to things that would otherwise go unloved or be thrown away,” is central to her practice.
Jennifer will teach you five experimental techniques that will be used to create surfaces that will be used to make paper garments, such as gloves, ties, dicky bows and small dresses. These will be decorated and embellished with buttons, ribbons, waxed doilies and hand stitch, to become exquisite paper garments.
