Saturday 19th March, 10:30am - 12:30pm (£25 for 2 hours)

Programme

Aimed at beginners this 2 -hour workshop will show students how to create their own simplistic and striking papercraft pleated creations using folding and cutting techniques to shape hearts, butterflies and other spring motifs into wall hangings.

Using spring inspired pastel coloured paper, card and glue we’ll do some clever cutting and folding and make geometric shapes, then string them onto twine for a charming craft piece to adorn your walls.

A selection of colours and papers will be available to make your pleated designs into beautiful paper hearts, butterflies, leaves or flowers strands your own.

Once your paper creations are complete we will then attach your creations together with thin ribbon or twine and fasten to a wooden dowel to make a pretty wall hanging.

Students will learn the wonders of paper craft in this family friendly workshop, make your own small wall hanging or team up on a large one with your family or group!

Artist tutor Olga is on hand to offer design tips and advice on how best to approach your design.
