Enjoy the unspoilt countryside of the High Weald, an area of outstanding natural beauty including fields and ancient woodland with traces of the historic Wealden iron industry. The route takes in the market town of Wadhurst, the rural village of Tidebrook, Mayfield with its many attractive old buildings and C14 church and the attractive Wadhurst Park where you might even see the occasional deer. Starting and ending at Wadhurst’s very own Páramo village shop handily situated close to two great pubs. This walk has many stiles and is a fair gradient.
