Who is this session for?

This group is for anyone who considers themselves to be supporting someone with an eating disorder – whether you're a parent, partner, sibling, friend, employer, or in any other caring role. All are welcome.

Do I need to have any prior knowledge or experience?

No previous experience is necessary. This is a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can come as you are – whether you're just beginning to understand eating disorders or have been on this journey for some time.

Is the session really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, attendance is free of charge. However, if you’re able, we warmly welcome donations to support the ongoing work of Wednesday’s Child with families, individuals, and professionals. Will I have to speak or share my story?

Not at all. You’re welcome to join just to listen. There’s no pressure to contribute unless you feel comfortable doing so.

Is the session confidential?

Yes. We ask all participants to respect the confidentiality and privacy of others. This is a safe space for open and honest conversation.

Who is leading the session?

The session will be facilitated by therapist Sarah Parker and Wednesday’s Child founder Debbie Watson, both of whom have extensive experience in supporting carers and individuals affected by eating disorders.

How will I access the Zoom link?

After you register, you’ll receive the Zoom link by email in your confirmation message and again in a reminder before the session begins.

Will the session be recorded?

No – to protect participants' privacy, sessions will not be recorded.

Can I attend future sessions too?

Absolutely. This is the first in a new series of monthly sessions. You're very welcome to join us regularly – details of upcoming dates will be shared soon.
