About this event

This is an opportunity for women and birthing people to explore options for where you can choose to give birth in Oxfordshire.

Did you know there are 5 birth centres across Oxfordshire? What is the difference between a birth centre and the delivery suite at the John Radcliffe? What can you expect if you're thinking about birthing at home? What are some of the reasons for transfer to a hospital setting and what does this involve? What tools can you use to help in making your decision?

All this and much more will be covered in our virtual session on place of birth. The workshop will be facilitated by two of Oxford's midwives.

Join us to find out more!

If you are booked to give birth with Oxford University Hospitals, we welcome you at any stage in your pregnancy to find out more about the options available to you. Partners and birth partners are also welcome.

For the registration we will ask for some background information from you for auditing purposes (including, hospital ID, stage of pregnancy, ethnicity, how many children you have and the first part of your postcode).

We will continue to add dates in the future.
