👶 Parent-Friendly Business Networking Is Finally Here – And You’re Invited
I’ve wanted to attend proper business networking events for years. I run a business, I work hard, and I deserve the same opportunities to grow and connect as anyone else.
But time and time again, I’ve been turned away — not because I wasn’t welcome, but because my children weren’t.
There have been so many mornings where I’ve had to sit at home with the kids while my partner goes to the networking meetings. Not because I don’t want to be there — but because, as always, “children aren’t allowed”. And as a mum, that’s the end of the conversation.
Honestly? It’s isolating. It makes you feel invisible. Like if you can’t magically sort childcare, you don’t get a seat at the table.
So I’ve decided to create the table myself.
This event is for parents in business — whether you’re self-employed, running a side hustle, just starting out or growing something big. It’s especially for those of us whose children aren’t yet in full-time education, who don’t have childcare on tap, and who are tired of being excluded from the business world just because we’re parents.
