Parenting in a Digital World: a webinar for parents and carers at Parent Gym

We all want our children to enjoy using the internet safely. Throughout this pandemic we’ve seen all the wonderful benefits technology has to offer, but with issues such as inappropriate content, screen dependency and online abuse increasing at disturbing rates, it’s never been more important to protect young people from online risk.

Parent Gym are therefore excited to welcome leading online safety organisation Digital Awareness UK, to deliver an online safety webinar to help our parents and carers feel empowered when it comes to supporting their children in their online lives.

During the 1 hour webinar, Digital Awareness UK will talk you through:

1. Major trends in how young people are using apps and games

2. Critical digital issues to be aware of

3. The practical steps you can take to protect your children from online risk and to encourage happy and healthy tech habits

There will also be plenty of time to ask questions about any concerns you may have in the home around online safety.
