There is now a growing understanding that sensory processing disorders make a massive impact on our day, and it is now part of the diagnostic criteria for Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and has proven to be a part of ADHD too. It is a condition in which the brain has trouble receiving and responding to information that comes in through the senses. These half-day trainings will explore this in more detail and give you a deeper understanding of the condition and how it manifests itself. It will also help you gain an understanding of the types of things that may cause a sensory overload, help explain the resulting behaviours, which can then help determine ways to eliminate or manage the issues.
