Parent Website Co-Design Session
Overview
Our Voice Our Journey, a Welsh not-for-profit organisation, is creating a new online resource for parents and carers who may be worried about children and young people experiencing or displaying harmful behaviours linked to gender-based violence, domestic abuse, unhealthy relationships and online harm.
We are seeking the views and ideas of parents and carers to help shape the development of this website, to ensure it is fit for purpose and meets parents’ needs.
The project has been commissioned by the VAWDASV Regional Advisors via Welsh Government. VAWDASV stands for Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence.
ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
We know that this website must be shaped by the real experiences and needs of parents and carers. We want to understand:
- What parents are most concerned about
- What information you currently rely on (or struggle to find)
- What feels helpful, overwhelming, confusing, or inaccessible
- How you would like a website like this to be structured and organised
- What would help you feel supported, not judged
This one-hour online session will be informal and we'll start by sharing more about this project, before exploring your views and ideas to help shape the website. You can participate in any way you feel comfortable to, and we'll feed back to you what happens next.
