Dear Parents! Welcome to our parent workshop on Coordination & Body Skills.
This session will help you understand the difference between coordination and gross motor development, what these skills look like in everyday life, and how they affects your child’s ability to participate at home, in school, and during play. Through practical examples and fun activity ideas, we will explore strategies to build core strength, balance, body awareness, and hand-eye coordination: all essential foundations for learning, independence, and confidence. We will also share tips for reducing screen time, promoting active play, and making use of everyday opportunities at home and in the community. This workshop is designed to be interactive and supportive, giving you practical tools you can start using straight away to support your child’s development.
