Parental Alienation Awareness Day event (online)
Event Information
About this event
This year we will be running another online event to raise awareness of Parental Alienation. We will be joined by guest speakers; Ian McArdle who is a barrister based in Liverpool specialising in all aspects of children's law, with a particular interest in cases involving Parental Alienation. He practiced as a solicitor for 10 years prior to becoming a barrister and is currently undertaking a Ph.D. researching Parental Alienation in The Family Justice System.
Lorraine Bushell is from Hendon Grandparents group. She established the group in the West Midlands 20 years ago, and a second group in London 12 years ago. This was due to her own personal experience of being both an alienated parent and grandparent. The group has now expanded with members from all over the UK and beyond. It welcomes grandparents that have been affected by this issue. They meet online on a monthly basis and have the support of Dame Esther Rantzen, Lord Blunkett, MP Matthew Offord, and Nigel Huddleston.
Johnathan Hulton is the founder of The Modern Family Channel. This is an e-learning platform for parents who are struggling with high conflict separation and child contact disputes.
This event is an opportunity for parents, grandparents, extended family members, or friends to come together to access information, advice and to enable connection and support for those affected by Parental Alienation. So please join us for Parental Alienation Awareness Day to highlight this issue and the impact that this has on children, their parents, and extended family members.
