Event description

Description

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are hosting this event free of charge to you!

Colleagues from Frontline, Think Ahead and the University of York are collaborating to offer delegates an opportunity to think about, reflect upon and critique current safeguarding practice with parents within the child protection process who also experience mental ill health. We will consider this from several positions including, child, parent, family, practitioner and organisation. The day will provide you with an opportunity to discuss current practice dilemmas and share experience with colleagues from across the region. Participants for the day will come from the local authority, heath care and charity settings. This will ensure we have a useful exchange of ideas between those whose role primarily has a focus upon outcomes for children and those who focus upon the experiences of adults.

As this is a free event please bring your own lunch / refreshments.
